Raining hard today, but wreath making indoors with my dear friend Maggie. The colours look really dreary – perhaps it’s the rain – our front door is actually a pretty green. I try to make the wreath different every year, not easy when you have been getting together with your friend to make one for the last twenty eight years! No artificial berries this year, just teasels, poppy heads and ivy. Below is a close up, with the hydrangea flower heads and mini watering can in view.

Ah wow Elaine, I love the dried poppy heads and teasels , mixed with the hydrangeas, you are so talented!
I have never made a wreath, in my life ,as I’m not a big fan of the plain holly ones or the artificial ones!! But this is very inspiring, so thank you for sharing it. Much love Jo xx

Lent out my ‘floristry box’ with all my bits and bobs in it so made me be more inventive. Hope it can withstand the strong winds that are arriving!
