Not my usual colour scheme but good to use my sketchbook designs from last autumn to make these sea buckthorn cards. I made the background some time ago – I don’t often do anything on black fabric – so just had the berries to stamp on top. Then my usual soldering iron/machining technique to add detail. One is framed up the others packed and ready as cards – the 6 x 6″ format works well.
Really nice Elaine. I think I will have another go at this technique for cards.

Hi Lesley, Always a good idea to turn spare or experimental pieces into cards. I particularly like the square ones that can easily be framed but really most card sizes fit the standard size frames, just I think the square ones look better.
