This is a ‘try out’ – a floral wreath with the flowers printed onto calico in acrylic paint and then machined to give the details. A few glaring mistakes here, the main one being my mistaken belief that I could cover up the green leaves with the flower paint when I printed on top. Never mind, I like the idea of making flowers from what were ostensibly ‘blobs’ of colour, printed with a potato and carrot. The picture below shows more of the potential of this technique I think.
