I have had so much fun making this lampshade, using a kit I’ve had for a year or so. The lamp base I’ve probably had for nearly twenty years – it’s been in the loft waiting for a much needed coat of paint before being called into use with the shade. The recently made mosaic stencil was the perfect size for the project and I used acrylic paints on a calico base with machine stitching to highlight the shapes.
