I am still experimenting for this workshop, now trying an organza ‘trellis’ to support the flower heads. I prefer it to the watercolour background as the hydrangeas are delicate, but at the moment I’m not sure about the edging – or exactly how I’m going to apply the flower heads, as the bottoms are clusters and the top parts are made up of individual pieces. It will be an unashamedly ‘pretty, pretty’ workshop, but will suit people that want to practise using water soluble techniques. And anyway, there’s nothing wrong with a bit of glitz!
