Looking at this piece laid flat I can see that I am going to snip off the border and try a little beaded edge against the lurex ribbon. I think that will make it less fussy looking as there’s enough organza petals and leaves without a decorative border!

I am still experimenting for this workshop, now trying an organza ‘trellis’ to support the flower heads.
