I am working on a new class for later in the year – Summer Blooms – and these pictures give an indication of how I might develop it. The examples here just show the hydrangeas ‘laid’ on the background, so it really is the early stages of me organising the workshop. The base will be watercolour paper, decorated in a loose, impressionistic style and then the blooms will be made separately. There will also be some stitching into the paper, although that could be optional. At the moment I am concentrating on hydrangeas and alliums, as they are in the same colour scheme, but I am also itching to try something with cow parsley and even reeds, to link with my Cley Marshes work.
Love it Elaine, I will look forward to the workshop.
