This is a new workshop, ideal for those needing an introduction to using soluble materials with their sewing machine. It is a very simple project so would also be good for people who aren’t very confident with their free machining. For the more experienced I am planning a workshop for next year that is an extension of this snowflake class, rather like the banner on this website, but using sunflowers as a theme.
In this workshop we will make one snowflake, which can be used as a tree decoration or as part of a garland or mobile. We will make the most simple version, as pictured, but ideas will be given in how to make variations and extend the theme.
I am running the course at home on two days – Wednesday 31st October and Thursday 1st November, so there are only places for four people on each day. Please contact me if you are interested, noting which day you prefer or if you are able to do either date. Places will be allocated on a first come basis and at the moment I am just putting the details on this website. Cost is £35 and you will be required to bring your sewing machine, although I do have two machines here if you would like to use one of them.
